October 1st, 2010 was a meaningful day for SaSa.
The SaSa Colors & Fragrance Fair & Award 2010 Presentation Ceremony was held at
Main Concourse, LG1, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre.
The event was hosted by Xandria Ooi.
There were tons and tons of media representatives, trade partners, and over 30 famous bloggers in town with one universal objective. That is to celebrate the awards presentation to the winners of the 6 main fragrance categories voted by the Malaysian consumers which emerged after 38 days weeks of intensive promotional campaign by SaSa Malaysia.

Ever since its inaugural campaign back in 2008, SaSa Colors & Fragrance Fair & Awards this year has attracted a lot more trade partners such as DKNY, ITF, L'Oreal PCI, P&G Prestige, and Marina De Bourbon with its most favorite line-up of fragrance submissions. A total of 38,436 votes were received in only this year from all the SaSa outlets as well as some special events on the SaSa website.
This year was seriously the BOMB as compared to about only 32,000 votes received last year.
This campaign started on the August 27th, 2010 with 12 nominated fragrances in the running for big industry titles, namely Best Women's Fragrance, Best Men's Fragrance, Best Couple Fragrance, and Fragrance of the Year 2010. As for the newly introduced Special Colorscentsations Award, best matched fragrance and "color look" from the three nominees; namely the sweetness and warmth of Hapiness look; the coolness and funkiness of Free Spirit look; and the combination of independence and modern in the Confidence look. These are the three different make-up looks set to fit with the three special fragrance nominees to bring out their best aspiration and feel for one another.

The adjudicators are as stated below:

Awal Ashaari --- TV Host
Owen Yap --- Award Winning TV Host
The points were divided into 40% from the judges; 40% from the general public; 20% from the fragrance sales tabulated up until September 30th, 2010.

Apart from that, SaSa also gave out Fragrance Fair dip prizes to shoppers who purchased nominated fragrances during the campaign. The six prizes include:
[x] Grand Prize - A Designer Diamond Necklace worth over RM8,000 + RM2,000 Colors & Fragrance product hamper
[x] 1st Prize - 1 bottle of the winning fragrance from each category (total 5 bottles) + RM2,000 SaSa Gift Certificates
[x] 2nd Prize - 3 bottles of fragrances from the SaSa Fragrance Fair & Awards 2010 + RM1,000 SaSa Gift Certificates + RM1,000 AW Color Collection Hamper
[x] 3rd Prize - Best Couple Award Winners + RM500 SaSa Gift Certificates
[x] 4th Prize - 1 bottle of Fragrance of The Year + RM250 SaSa Gift Certificates
To spice up the campaign, SaSa Malaysia contributed back to the society by donating RM1 for every bottle of fragrance sold during the campaign to the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA).
Ms Corina Loi, the Senior Vice President and Country Head of SaSa Malaysia, presented the cheque amounting to RM13,389 to Dr. Zaharah Aiyub, the Vice President of BCWA during the Fragrance Awards presentation.
SaSa expressed their appreciation for the tremendously genuine support received from the trade partners as well as the public.
SaSa is looking forward to organizing more exciting campaigns to make Malaysians' life more beautiful.
